Practical training institutions

In the Midwifery Science programme we cooperate with hospitals with obstetrics units (approved training institutions). At the start of their degree programme, students sign an academic midwifery training contract with one of these hospitals and in return receive a monthly salary throughout the period of their study.

Students will carry out most of their training in the hospital with which they have signed the contract. In addition they will gain insights into the work of midwives in other institutions run by midwives (e.g. birth centres) and in working together with self-employed midwives.

The following are our current cooperation partners to whom students can apply directly. (Applications should only be made to "approved training institutions"). This list will be updated regularly and may be extended as the programme becomes established.
