Offers for school pupils

to #experiencingFUTURE

Nice to see you!

We offer pupils a wide range of opportunities to get to know HFU – whether it's a holiday programme, trying out what studying feels like or making decisions about your own future.
The most important thing is, of course, to have fun! Whether it's a children's university or an exhibition stand, there's no such thing as boring with us.

These are just some of the many opportunities for you to get to know HFU:

Fairs

Furtwangen University and our individual faculties are regularly present at trade fairs. We post the dates of the fairs in our events calendar – so just check at the bottom of this page!

University Open Day

Every year in November Furtwangen University offers prospective students, teachers and parents the opportunity to find out about our range of degree courses on offer at all three campuses. Taster lectures, laboratory tours, practicals, experiments, presentations of all degree programmes and special information on the topics of application and admission give you a comprehensive insight into studying at Furtwangen University.

Girls/Boys Day

Kids uni

Introducing children to science is great fun. That's why Furtwangen University offers two kids universities and a teen university!

In Schwenningen
In July, the annual Kids Uni for children aged 8 to 12 takes place on the Schwenningen Campus. The programme takes place on campus so that we can try out lots of stuff with the young researchers. There are child-friendly lectures and workshops in the fields of medical technology, biology and chemistry.
Participation in the Kids Uni Schwenningen is free of charge. The number of participants is limited to 50 places.
The exact date and further information will be published ahead of time in our events calendar.

At the Schwenningen location, we also offer a special holiday programme for curious teens. Our Teen Uni is aimed at teenagers aged between 12 and 15. Here too, participation is free of charge, but places are limited. As soon as registration for the Teen Uni opens, we'll inform you in the events calendar and in our news!

In Furtwangen
There is also a kids uni in Furtwangen, organised by the Kinderuni Furtwangen e.V. association. Kids between the ages of 10 and 14 interested in the world of science and technology can experiment and experience many joint activities, such as a visit to Europa Park.
