This master's programme is aimed at business graduates who wish to further develop their analytical and problem-solving skills. Particular attention is paid to the future challenges facing companies and the goals of sustainable management and innovation management. If you're interested in the latest research findings, questioning management practice and want to contribute new ideas in a changing business environment, this is the right place for you!
Programme content and structure
IMM is a three-semester, full-time degree programme. Our course content focuses on future trends and innovation. We develop skills for sustainable, future-oriented management.
In the first two semesters, you'll deal with future-oriented, interdisciplinary management topics and apply newly acquired methods in an international project team. In the third semester, you will write your thesis - possibly in cooperation with a company. In the colloquium accompanying your thesis, you'll experience an intensive exchange with your fellow students and receive continuous feedback on the current status of your work.
Entry requirements
For your application you need:
- A bachelor's degree in a business-related subject with an above-average grade point average
- The ability to work academically as demonstrated by a bachelor's thesis or alternative academic paper.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, demonstrated by a full degree in English, TOEFL (score >95), IELTS (score >7) or an equivalent test

Tuition fees and living expenses
Semester fees
Starting in winter semester 2024/2025, all students at Furtwangen University will pay a fee of €155 per semester in addition to any tuition fees (see below).
Tuition fees for non-EU citizens
In 2017, the Baden-Württemberg state government introduced tuition fees of €1,500 per semester for students from non-EU countries. However, there are numerous Download file:exceptions to the obligation for non-EU students to pay tuition fees of €1,500 per semester.

Cost of living
Living costs average €934 per month and are the sole responsibility of the student. For the student visa, you must prove that you have sufficient financial resources for the entire period of your studies. Please note that this is a minimum requirement. The actual cost of living may be higher depending on your choice of accommodation and use of local facilities. Financial support from the university for living costs is not possible.
