Mission Statement & Academic Programmes

Our faculty is particularly strong in research − and we incorporate this into our teaching. With us, you will work on scientific projects during your studies. Our staff and professors will support you in this. And with our Research and Teaching Alliance (ReAching), we specifically support students who want to publish the results of their student research projects, theses or semester projects − an important step towards an academic career.

You will also become familiar with professional practice in hospitals or industry at an early stage. During your internship semester, you will work outside the university in companies and clinics. This not only gives you an insight into everyday working life, but also allows you to make valuable contacts, perhaps even with your future employer.

Our faculty's degree programmes are offered on both the Furtwangen and Schwenningen campuses and at the Freiburg Study Center.
