  • Research up close Our faculty on the Tuttlingen Campus also includes the Innovation and Research Center (IFC), where work is carried out on the latest scientific issues. And at the Rottweil Research Center, you'll gain insights into new approaches to coatings in medical technology!

Sustainability, mobility and innovative technologies are the guiding principles of Faculty II. We offer a broad, future-oriented range of courses − from sound fundamentals to practical applications. In this interdisciplinary environment, you'll combine individual specialist knowledge with modern approaches to meet challenges in areas such as sustainable mobility, digital transformation, medical technology and renewable energy supply. Our practice-oriented degree programmes allow you to actively immerse yourself in projects right from the start. Through close cooperation with companies and a variety of practical units in partner companies in the region, you'll make valuable contacts and gain experience that will give you the ideal preparation for the professional challenges of tomorrow. Our degree programmes are located in Furtwangen, Schwenningen and Tuttlingen, each of which opens up exciting prospects for you.

At our university campus in Tuttlingen, we also offer the opportunity to work in industrial laboratories in companies. Thanks to a particularly close cooperation with the local companies, you can use their laboratories directly in the companies and training facilities!

With the Innovation and Research Center (IFC), Furtwangen University promotes and supports the transfer of knowledge and technology and thus contributes to strengthening the regional economy and its innovative power. Our university campus in Tuttlingen is something very special.
