Advanced training in Arduino programming
Teachers from Otto Hahn Gymnasium and Immanuel Kant Gymnasium in Tuttlingen attended a practical training course on microcontroller programming at Furtwangen University. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Andreas Gollwitzer, who teaches on the Tuttlingen campus, the participants took an in-depth look at the structure and functionality of the Arduino board and worked with various sensors and an LC display. The participants not only gained in-depth technical knowledge, but were also able to test and deepen their skills in programming and systematic error analysis in practice. The aim was to prepare teachers for the safe and creative use of Arduino in the classroom and enable them to support their students even more competently in STEM projects in the future.
The training is part of a long-standing and successful cooperation between Furtwangen University and schools in the region. It not only offers insights into current technical developments, but also promotes valuable exchange between schools and universities. This creates new impetus for modern and future-oriented STEM education.
HFU also offers many formats such as workshops for students.
