The close cooperation between Furtwangen University and schools is a central part of our educational mission. Together with our partner schools, we develop innovative concepts to inspire young people to engage in scientific thinking, creative problem solving and practice-oriented learning at an early age.

Furtwangen University, with campuses in Furtwangen, Schwenningen, Tuttlingen, Rottweil and Freiburg, sees itself as a committed partner for schools in the region and beyond. Working closely with school administrators, teachers, and educational institutions, we open the door for young people to the world of science, technology and innovation. Through a variety of cooperation formats, we give them access to expertise in the fields of health, computer science, media, technology and business.

Whether through school visits, taster days, student information days or joint projects, HFU brings science into the classroom and brings research to life. Our practical degree programmes and modern laboratories offer students authentic insights into university life.

HFU supports teachers in developing their subject-specific and didactic skills with high-quality courses. The focus is on closely integrating theory and practice − in line with our mission as a university of applied sciences.
