The next University Open Day takes place on Wednesday 18 November, 2026 on all 3 Furtwangen University campuses and at the Freiburg Study Center.
We're offering taster lectures, laboratory tours, study programme presentations and much more.
The detailed programe will be posted here and continually updated.
General information
What makes HFU special are its various locations. Our University Open Day takes place in four different cities!
To help you keep track, here are our campus maps:

Finding the right room on campus is no problem! The room names show you where you need to go: first to the right building, then to the right floor. For example, room B 1.14a in Furtwangen is located in building B, on the first floor.
And don't worry: you can always ask anyone for directions!

You don't have to wait until November if you're curious about HFU. There are lots of opportunities for school pupils to get to know us and get a taste of what studying's like!
