Experience HFU
Would you like to learn a programming language from scratch? Would you like to get a taste of university life while still at school and take part in a regular course? Then the Uni at School programme offered by the Faculty of Computer Science and Applications is just right for you!
What can you expect?
You can expect a weekly lecture and a corresponding practical programming course. You'll learn about programming and basic programming elements using the Python language. During the lecture you will learn the most important basics of programming together with students from the Computer Science bachelor's degree programme. You'll be supervised by student tutors in the subsequent practical. Here you will deepen your new knowledge and can practise programming intensively under supervision. The student course lasts one semester.
What are the benefits?
After successfully completing the internship and passing the written exam at the end of the semester, you will be awarded 6 credit points. These will be recognised in a later degree programme, if the subject is equivalent. In consultation with your school, the course you have passed can also be recognised as a seminar course.
If you are interested in computer science and are attending “gymnasium” or a vocational college, or are training in the field of computer science/electrical engineering, then you've come to the right place.
