AI and Cyber Security in the classroom
Artificial intelligence in the classroom
Our annual professional development event for computer science teachers will take place on Friday 25 September 2026 in Furtwangen.
Teaching and learning are undergoing fundamental change due to artificial intelligence. For this reason, we are once again focusing on the topic “Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom”. You will receive practical ideas and guidelines for a critical, meaningful and legally compliant use of AI in the classroom, as well as in-depth insights into how large language models work.
For the first time, the event will also feature a panel discussion with best practice examples on the use of AI in schools and universities.
The full event programme will be published on this page at the end of June.
This professional development event is offered by the Faculty of Computer Science and Applications at Furtwangen University. It is aimed at computer science teachers at general and vocational secondary schools leading to the Abitur. Our aim is to offer participants a high-quality subject-specific qualification and to provide exercises and solutions for use with your pupils. In addition, we want to support networking among participants and between schools and the university.
This one-day event will take place at Furtwangen University.
We look forward to receiving your registration by email by 18 September 2026. Places are limited.
