Details of the programme

Programme content & structure

The Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (KIR) degree programme lasts seven semesters. In each semester, you take five modules, which are usually completed with a graded certificate of achievement. The foundation course lasts two semesters, the advanced course five semesters. The content of the KIR course is divided into three subject areas:

  • Computer Science
  • Artificial intelligence
  • Robotics

Study with TREFFER

We make it easy for you to start your studies! We have an introductory week for first-semester students (INside week), a mentoring program (Mentoring4U) and many other additional offers. All of this is organized by the TREFFER team. TREFFER stands for TRaining, Erfolg, Fördern, FordERn.

Projects and time abroad

In your advanced studies, you will gain experience in a robotics project. You will complete your fifth semester as a practical semester in a software company of your choice. Optionally, you can spend your sixth semester abroad – we're happy to help you choose a university.

Last but not least

Before we award you the title "Bachelor of Science" after your seventh semester, you write your thesis. You choose the topic for your thesis yourself – theses are usually written on a specific task in a company.
