Furtwangen University welcomes school leavers and parents
On Wednesday, 20 November, pupils can gain deeper insights into Furtwangen University (HFU). All nine HFU faculties will be offering a varied programme during the Open Day. On the three campuses in Furtwangen, Schwenningen and Tuttlingen, there will be taster lectures on a wide variety of topics, for example on “Sensors in Surveillance Technology”, “General Psychology” or “Tumor Biology”. There will also be various workshops where guests will have the opportunity to become active themselves − for example, robots can be programmed in “Hitchhiking through robotics”. There will also be guided tours of the campus and laboratories, such as the media labs. Many students will also be on hand to talk about their experiences and answer questions about campus life or degree programmes.
The Furtwangen Campus will also be hosting a Parents' Café throughout the event, where accompanying parents can exchange ideas and receive advice.
The exact programme for the three campuses Furtwangen, Schwenningen and Tuttlingen can be found on the HFU website here: Internal link opens in the same window:https://www.hs-furtwangen.de/en/experiencing-future/events/university-open-day.
No need to register − anyone can just come along and hopefully many school leavers will be inspired to have the best time at HFU!
