Visualisierung. Interaktion. Systeme.

Heutzutage sind die Systeme mobil, vernetzt und eingebettet. Immer wichtiger wird die Intelligenz und Interaktivität für adaptive Systemen neben der Interaktion zwischen Mensch und System. So nimmt die Bedeutung von autonomen Systemen stetig zu und die Übergänge von interaktive KI werden immer nahtloser.

Das IIIUS trägt dazu bei, indem bislang meist getrennt behandelte Aspekte von Modellen und intelligenten Systemen einerseits sowie Interaktion, visuelle Darstellung und User Experience andererseits integriert und domänenspezifisch beforscht werden.

Das Kerngebiet liegt in der Medieninformatik, in der Interaktion, der Visualisierung komplexer Sachverhalte in ubiquitären Systemen.
