Visualisation. Interaction. Systems.
Nowadays, systems are mobile, networked and embedded. Intelligence and interactivity are becoming increasingly important for adaptive systems alongside the interaction between humans and the system. The importance of autonomous systems is constantly increasing and the transitions from interactive AI are becoming increasingly seamless.
The IIIUS contributes to this by integrating and conducting domain-specific research into aspects of models and intelligent systems on the one hand and interaction, visual representation and user experience on the other, which to date have mostly been treated separately.
The core area is media informatics, interaction and the visualisation of complex issues in ubiquitous systems.
