The IT Product Management (ITP) degree programme combines the subjects of IT and management in a unique way. We teach you how IT products and services are developed and marketed. We train you to manage and optimise IT processes in companies.
The course focuses on the design and management of economically successful and sustainable software systems for the digital society of tomorrow.
Programme content and structure
ITP specifics
On the IT Product Management (ITP) course, you'll be designing and developing software and IT products and planning their market launch. With your expertise in software processes, you will later ensure that the internal processes in the company function smoothly and that the product is launched on the market at the right time and with high quality.
Because development processes today take place in interdisciplinary teams, we'll be workingin small project groups during our studies.
One example:
- What influence do algorithms have on opinion formation? In the "I'm not a robot" project, ITP students looked at social bots – software robots or agents that text, like and comment on social media. The range of applications for social bots extends from customer support to the targeted influencing of political processes. The question posed in the project was: What influence do algorithms have on opinion formation?
