Awards ceremony: Prof. Dr. Lasowski accepts prize money on behalf of the project group

From smart tool trolleys to AI-supported assembly

On 23 January students of the Internal link opens in the same window:Innovation Engineering master's programme presented the results of their diverse innovation projects. Ideas ranged from a monitoring tool cart that detects missing tools reminding users to return them, and a smart inhaler as a novel medical technology product, to a robot-assisted assembly cell with AI-supported instructions.

The “Flow” team was particularly successful − under the leadership of Internal link opens in the same window:Prof. Dr. Lasowski, they impressed with their innovative assembly concept and were awarded a project prize of €500 by M+M Software.

The “Innovation Engineering” degree programme at HFU not only promotes creative ideas, but also gives students the opportunity to put them into practice – whether in projects, start-ups, or forward-looking innovations.
