to the research projects

Trinational Industry 4.0 Network of Excellence

The fourth industrial revolution is underway. The digitalization and networking of value chains over the entire lifecyle of products are the main issues when it comes to the future feasibility of industry. For SMEs and SMIs these developments are not easy to accomplish as expertise and resources, among other things, are lacking. This is where the crossborder UPPER RHINE 4.0 project comes in.

The main activities of the project are focused on networking and cooperation, technology partnerships, qualification of employees, increase of competitiveness and the creation of new opportunities for businesses in the Upper Rhine region. The crossborder network supports SMEs and SMIs in the transition of industry to the future. The long-term aim is to position the region as a reference area and technological showcase for the future in Europe.
