The HFU research blog

Dear reader,

HFU is one of the most research-intensive universities in Germany. The central Institute for Applied Research (Internal link opens in the same window:IAF) was founded at the university 25 years ago in 1996. Since then several high-performance research institutes have been established under its roof. This special anniversary is an opportunity for us to present the research activities at Furtwangen University in our research blog.

The blog will provide insights into the diverse research fields and projects at HFU. Our bi-monthly scientific posts covering fascinating and highly relevant topics across all HFU disciplines and faculties will keep you up-to-date on the innovative, in-depth and sound, as well as practice- and future-oriented, research carried out here.
