The faculties of Furtwangen University invite all those interested in studying to take part.

The countdown is on - prospective students at Furtwangen University (HFU) have until 15 January to apply for the upcoming summer semester, starting in March. To make it easier for prospective students to choose their degree programme, the faculties are hosting numerous information events.

On Monday, 8 January, the Faculty of Health, Safety and Society is offering an online consultation hour on safety studies starting at 6.30pm where questions about the Security & Safety Engineering Bachelor's degree will be answered. There will also be information on the Master's degree in Risk Engineering.

The Faculty of Business Information Systems will also be providing information online on Tuesday, 9 January. The two new Bachelor's degrees that were successfully launched in the current winter semester will be presented: "Business Information Systems - Business Data Science" and "Business Information Systems - Digital Business & eCommerce". You can find out more about study conditions, campus life and job prospects for business information systems specialists.

The Faculty of Business Administration and Engineering will also be providing information about its range of courses on Tuesday, 9 January. At the virtual event, participants can also look forward to an exciting live demo from the Industrial Solutions Lab.

On Wednesday, 10 January, the Faculty of Digital Media will provide information about its Master's degree programmes in Interactive Media Design and Computer Science in Media.

The Faculty of Business Administration and Engineering is looking forward to welcoming visitors to the Furtwangen Campus (G Building) on Friday, 12 January starting at 4.00pm. Professors, lecturers and current students will be presenting the following Bachelor's degrees: "Industrial Engineering - Marketing and Sales" and "Industrial Engineering - Product Engineering". Of course, questions about studying at HFU will also be answered and it will be possible to view lecture halls and laboratories. Parents are also cordially invited to the information events. The faculty requests registration by email with susan.robinson(at)hfu.eu.

On Saturday, 13 January, the Faculty of Computer Science will also welcome interested guests to the Furtwangen campus at an information event. Starting at 10am, lecturers and students from the faculty will welcome prospective students, as well as prospective first semester students who have already applied. Information will be provided about the content of the "Computer Science" and "IT Product Management", bachelor degree programmes and of course there will be a tour of the campus, a look at the laboratories and plenty of opportunity to make initial contacts. This event will also be broadcast online; the participation link will be published on the HFU website. For attendance in person, please register by e-mail at dekanat-in(at)hs-furtwangen.de.

For prospective students who have already applied for the summer semester, there will be Applicant Information Days at all Furtwangen University campuses in the coming weeks. In addition to these initial information events, HFU is once again preparing an extensive programme to welcome the new freshmen at the start of the semester.
