Furtwangen University receives top marks in CHE ranking: Study situation and time factor particularly positive!
Furtwangen University (HFU) can once again boast top marks in the latest ranking by the Center for Higher Education Development (CHE). This time, Master's degree programmes in the disciplines of business, industrial engineering and business information systems were evaluated.
In the CHE ranking, students' assessments of study conditions are recorded in various categories and classified using a traffic light system. In each of the faculties currently assessed, HFU achieved a "green" rating, placing it in the top group of universities in Germany.
In the evaluation of the Master's degree programmes, the category "Degrees within a reasonable time" was particularly positive, with HFU ranking in the top group in all subject areas tested. In Business Administration and Engineering, HFU's students also attested to particularly good "contact with professional practice in the Master's programme". In Business top marks were also awarded for "General study situation". The Master's students at the HFU Business School also gave the highest scores for supervision by lecturers, support during studies, range of courses, organisation of studies, digital teaching elements and support for studying abroad.
"We are very pleased that our Master's students are so satisfied with what we offer," says HFU President Prof. Dr. Rolf Schofer. "The intensive support we provide at HFU is particularly important for master's students. We train specialists here who are ideally prepared to enter the job market."
