The libraries at our three locations can be used by students, staff and the public. They have an extensive range of print and digital media. There are over 60,000 books and more than 350,000 e-books and e-journals. In addition to an excellent selection of specialist books, you can also find reading material for leisure time or the semester break.

Boss

On our BOSS-Portal, you can search our catalogue for print books, e-books and e-resources. 

OPAC

The Library catalogue (OPAC) contains our print media (books, journals) as well as our electronic media (e-books, e-journals, videos). 

OPUS repository 

Digital works can be archived on our External link opens in a new window:OPUS server and made visible to the library catalog and the public (you can search for our professors and their publications).

CITAVI

External link opens in a new window:Literature management software that supports the entire work process from research to the finished manuscript (all university members receive a free license for the full version).

Open Access 

The aim of External link opens in a new window:Open Access is to make academic knowledge accessible on the Internet free of charge and without barriers and to make it reusable in compliance with copyright law.

LINKEDIN Learning

External link opens in a new window:Access to over 15,000 different video training courses on a wide range of topics in various languages.

Database Information System (DBIS)

External link opens in a new window:The HFU database portal: search in databases such as Springerlink, WISO, BUSINESS Source Premier (EBSCO), SciVerse ScienceDirect, ACM, IEEE, NAUTOS (DIN standards).

Electronic Journals Library (EZB)
