Entry requirements
Admission to the external examination in the Business Administration and Engineering - Technology Management study programme requires:
- Proof of a recognised completed advanced training course based on vocational training with a technical focus, e.g.
- Certified technical business administrator (IHK)
- Certified industrial foreman (IHK)
- State-certified technician or
- Certified technical business administrator (IHK)
- Proof of university entrance qualification according to §§ 58f. LHG Baden-Württemberg (e.g. by passing a recognised advanced vocational training examination)
- Full-time professional experience of at least one year after completing vocational training with a technical or business focus
- Sufficient preparation for the examination according to § 33 (external examination) of the Baden-Württemberg State Higher Education Act through regular participation in the courses of the study programme

It is best to have them ready in advance:
- Copy of university entrance qualification
- Copies of certificates of technical vocational training and advanced training
- Many applicants have not yet received their degree certificate. In this case, please apply with a current transcript of records containing a provisional overall grade.
- Foreign applicants with a foreign certificate (also EU) please note the information below
- Curriculum vitae
- Letter of motivation (1-2 pages)
- Other relevant documents, e.g. work references, which prove your particular aptitude and motivation for the bachelor's degree programme in Engineering Management
- Proof of German language skills, if your native language is not German, level DaF TDN4, CEFR B2.2, ALTE level 4 or equivalent
As proof of English language skills, we currently only require proof in the certificate, e.g. in your university entrance qualification.
International applicants
Foreign applicants with a foreign certificate (also EU) and stateless applicants must first have their certificates recognised by the Center for International Students of the Universities of Applied Sciences in Baden-Württemberg (Studienkolleg Konstanz):

Foreign nationals with a German university entrance qualification (HZB) and applicants from EU countries are admitted in the same way as Germans.
