Programme content and structure
IMM is a three-semester full-time degree programme. Our course content focuses on future trends and innovation. We develop skills for sustainable, future-oriented management.
In the first two semesters, you will deal with future-oriented, interdisciplinary management topics and apply new methods directly in an international project team. In the third semester, you will write your master's thesis, possibly in cooperation with a company. In the accompanying colloquium, you will benefit from intensive exchange with your fellow students and continuous feedback on the progress of your work.

Entry requirements
For your application you need:
- A bachelor's degree in a business-related subject with an above-average grade point average
- The ability to work academically as demonstrated by a bachelor's thesis or alternative academic paper.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, demonstrated by:
- a degree taught in English
- TOEFL (score >5), IELTS (score >7) or an equivalent test

Tuition fees
Semester fees
All students at Furtwangen University are required to pay a semester contribution of €176 per semester in addition to any tuition fees (see below).
Tuition fees for non-EU citizens
In 2017, the Baden-Württemberg state government introduced tuition fees of €1,500 per semester for students from non-EU countries. However, there are numerous Download file:exceptions to the obligation for non-EU students to pay tuition fees of €1,500 per semester.

Living expenses
Cost of living
The average cost of living is approximately €992 per month and must be covered by the students themselves. To obtain a student visa, you must provide proof that you have sufficient financial resources to cover this amount for the entire duration of your studies. Please note that this is a minimum requirement. Actual living costs may be higher depending on your choice of accommodation and use of local facilities. Unfortunately, the university is unable to provide financial support for living costs. We therefore recommend that you plan your finances early and realistically.
