FAQ

Is the course marked and blocked?
The course is clearly marked. At all relevant points there are track marshals and signposts. Each kilometer is clearly marked. The police and the city of Furtwangen are informed. The crossing of the Martin-Schmidt-Strasse is secured by posts.

What about catering?
Water, tea and sports drinks by UltraSports are available at kilometer 5, at kilometer 10,5, at kilometer 16 and within the target range. Also bananas and apples. Additionally there are milkshakes and soup in the target range .

Are there changing facilities?
The changing facilities are signposted.

Is there a luggage storage?
At the major conference room (B1.15) you can hand your luggage and valuables in. The luggage storage is staffed at all times. The categorisation takes place according to the start numbers.

Is there a supporting programme for spectators?
Everybody is invited to the Pasta-Party. Those who do not start have to pay for the food. For runners the food at the Pasta-Party is free of charge.
At the day of the race there are coffee and cakes, a delicious soup by the butcher’s shop Braun and a lot of possibilities for interesting conversations in the spacious hall (B1.14).
You shouldn’t miss the award ceremony at about 13.30. As a contribution to the financing of the half-marathon some lithographs of the artist Paul Revellio can be purchased – in the case that you do not belong to the winners of the races.

How and till when do I have to pay the entry fee?
The entry fee in the amount of 12 Euro has to be paid by advance payment (bank transfer) to the organiser. The runners are considered to be registered after the bank transfer. The maximum number of starters will be 300. Late registrations (15 Euro) are possible up to 1 hour before the start of half-marathon and the 10km race in the major conference room (B1.15) – if there are open places.
The bank account you will get via E-Mail together with the confirmation of your registration.

How is the runtime determined?
The WING- half-marathon and the 10km race operate with a professional timing procedure which is provided and supervised by the company Racesolutions.
