Consistently practical

Our "Applied Business Law" programme differs from most law degree courses at universities in that its focus on business law is consistently practice-oriented as opposed to dealing with theoretical problems in mass lectures. On this course, you will only have lecturers who have spent years in legal and business practice and have actively helped to shape it, thus preparing you for a later practical career in interesting and future-oriented fields of work in companies.

Working at an important interface between law and business, after graduating you'll be able to enter a wide range of business areas, such as marketing and sales, HR management or management consultancy.

Learning environment and values

In small groups of 30 students, you'll enjoy individual and personal contact with both teachers and students. Mutual respect and openness are important to us. Our lecturers are committed to first-class teaching and attach particular importance to active and critical exchange with students. Numerous student initiatives provide opportunities to try things out and network. The HFU Business School offers a very international learning environment with students from every continent. As a bilingual programme, many courses are taught in English.
