Experience it and be part of it
In Heidenei! - HeavyMetalAccumulation, artist Tintin Patrone transforms an old Swiss shepherd's ritual − the Alpine blessing − into a modern musical performance that moves through the landscape(s) of the Black Forest.
Patrone's project, which she developed over a period of more than four months as part of the Internal link opens in the same window:MoodLab, asks, How will protection “sound” in the future? And how can we react together with music to a world that is changing dramatically? The focus is on the human voice as a force that connects, protects and moves, and together with singers from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, the artist has created a vocal piece lasting several hours that will be presented to the public as a musical parade. Regional sounds meet heavy metal, tradition meets pop culture, pigeons meet bread sculptures and loudspeakers become axes.
The events will take place on:
- Friday, 20 June at 5.00pm in St. Georgen. Starting point: Sommerau/ Nockenkreuz (48°07'26.0 “N 8°17'09.1 ”E), park at the Sommerau hiking parking lot, end point: Wasserhäusle at Nockenkreuz
- Saturday, 21 June at 1.00pm in Radolfzell. Starting point: Kaufhausstrasse 1, 78315 Radolfzell am Bodensee, ending point: KFZ - Kunst für Zukunft, Friedrich-Werber-Str. 13 + 15, 78315 Radolfzell am Bodensee
Everyone can take part in the parades, make music, sing and dance along. The Listening Picnics invite you to listen and relax: a polyphonic, multi-instrumental composition by the artist will be presented, based on encounters and recordings with people on site and in the region.
You are welcome to bring drinks and food, curiosity and a good mood!
