Leisure time in Tuttlingen

Nature, culture and quality of life

Tuttlingen combines the outdoor experience and city flair − located directly on the Danube and close to the Black Forest, the city offers everything your heart desires − from hiking trails on the Witthoh to relaxing hours in the Donau Park with its Mediterranean charm.

The landmark Honberg Castle ruins become an event location in summer, while theatres, museums and festivals characterise the cultural scene.

The Swabian Alb around Tuttlingen encourages adventure and fun − dramatic cliffs, historic villages and endless opportunities for outdoor activities. This is the perfect place to combine work or study with nature and culture.

Especially for students

Tuttlingen has a very active campus life. The student unionl runs various sports clubs and regularly organises campus events such as parties, soccer and laser tag tournaments and barbecues in the summer. There are soccer, climbing, swimming, bouldering and ultimate frisbee clubs, and for a small fee per semester, students also have access to the entire sports programme of the Tuttlingen Sports Club.

The central location of the campus makes it convenient to reach everything, and a range of student discounts for bars, restaurants, the thermal baths and even boat hire make it easy for students to benefit from the city's off-campus offerings.

Upper Danube dreamland
