Workshops for pupils (Grades 10 - 13)

Practice is compulsory at this level − but schools often lack the equipment for modern laboratory methods. We close this gap − you and your classes simply come to our lab! We offer exciting workshops in the fields of biology, chemistry and technology at the Schwenningen Campus and the Rottweil Research Center, for example:

Genetic Engineering

How do you get bacteria to produce plastic-degrading enzymes? Your students will not only learn more about this in theory, but will also carry out two of the most basic genetic engineering methods themselves with PCR and subsequent agarose gel electrophoresis.
