Workshops for pupils (Grades 10 - 13)
Practice is compulsory at this level − but schools often lack the equipment for modern laboratory methods. We close this gap − you and your classes simply come to our lab! We offer exciting workshops in the fields of biology, chemistry and technology at the Schwenningen Campus and the Rottweil Research Center, for example:
Do-it-yourself acetylsalicylic acid? Of course − and the analysis is included! In this workshop, your students will produce the active ingredient of Aspirin® from salicylic acid themselves and then analyse the product using common methods such as thin-layer chromatography, UV/Vis and IR spectroscopy.
