IT for teaching, studying and researching

In the faculty's IT pool, students have the opportunity to put theory into practice and deepen the knowledge acquired in lectures in the areas of media, design and technologies.

All the tools, methods and processes used to create, edit and display digital content are tested here. These technologies enable the manipulation and presentation of digital information in diverse, interactive and visually appealing forms.

Purpose of lab

The IT pool consists of several rooms. The IT labs are open to all lecturers and students for courses, project work and free work during the specified opening hours.

Equipment

The laboratories are equipped with similar, very quiet high-performance workstations for use in a scientific environment, with extensive software equipment appropriate to the range of courses on offer (common 3D computer graphics and animation programs, design, film and video editing programs and other software packages).

We offer modern workstations for practicals, student work and projects. Projectors, blackboards and whiteboards allow lecturers and students to provide accompanying explanations.

Planned or ongoing courses include the programming of graphics shaders and computer games, visualisation, deep learning, etc.
