Productions for VR or the big screen
S3D is the abbreviation for “stereoscopic 3D” and stands for all types of computer graphics and film productions in which images with different perspectives are created for both human eyes. When viewing S3D images, an impressive spatial depth effect is created.
The S3D Postproduction Lab offers a comprehensive environment for such productions and immersive, digitally simulated content. Both virtual and augmented reality techniques are tested here.
Students learn about all production steps here, from recording to post-production. Perception tests for stereoscopic content are carried out under optimal conditions in order to test the quality and effect of the media.
