Code in compact format

Cyber-physical systems consist of software components that are coupled with mechanical and electronic components.

They are controlled by special computers − so-called embedded systems − which are also used in many electronic devices such as cell phones, routers, e-bikes, cars and medical devices.

They ensure that these devices function smoothly by using various sensors and software to perform tasks and communicate with each other.

The cooperation of different hardware systems with different sensors and software components for control and communication poses many challenges. It is important to ensure that the systems function reliably and that the requirements for energy, storage space and computing power are met.

Typical teaching scenarios

  • Software techniques for programming autonomous systems
  • Sensors and actuators for robot systems
  • Machine vision and image processing
  • Robot programming
