Our office coordinates the network
The new “THE bLÄNDed Learning” degree programmes have been successfully launched at a total of eight universities in Baden-Württemberg in the 2025/2026 winter semester. These include the “Internal link opens in the same window:Human-Centered Design” degree programme, which HFU offers in collaboration with Aalen University. Kick-off events at all locations marked the start of a future-oriented study model that combines digital and flexible learning formats with high academic quality.
The central office, located at Furtwangen University, supports the universities in implementing and further developing the model.
With its innovative study concept, the “THE bLÄNDed Learning Model” aims to more closely integrate studying and the modern working world. Through the use of digital learning formats and close cooperation with partners from industry, a range of programmes is created that is both academically sound and practical.
Further programme ideas are welcome. Requirements for this are a clear connection to a STEM subject, cooperation with at least one other university, and the involvement of a business partner.
