Future Dialogue 2025 on 30 October
How can companies in the region benefit from the Tuttlingen university campus? This question will be addressed at the Future Dialogue 2025 on Thursday, 30 October, on the Tuttlingen campus of Furtwangen University. Under the motto “High-tech city at the Tuttlingen campus – the locational advantage for local companies,” the Tuttlingen Economic Development Agency, together with the university and its cooperation partners, invites you to an exciting afternoon full of inspiration, exchange, and networking.
The Future Dialogue will highlight the added value that the Tuttlingen campus and its affiliated institutions – such as the Institute of Precision Machining (KSF) from the IFC – offer companies in research, development, and innovation. In addition to practical insights into current projects, the focus will be on networking between business, science, and start-ups.
A special highlight is the keynote speech by renowned human resources expert Prof. Dr. Armin Trost, who will talk about modern leadership culture and motivation in companies under the title “Between ball pit and burnout – how leadership enables a performance culture.” In addition, participants can look forward to a varied programme with an exhibition of student projects, an alumni success story, a job room for specialists and managers, and information points from the university's innovation network.
“Depending on requirements, the Tuttlingen university campus and the IFC offer companies the appropriate expertise, resources, and technical facilities that can be directly incorporated into the development of innovative products,” explains business development manager Martin Wycisk. The aim of the Future Dialogue is to “highlight the significant benefits of the Furtwangen University campus in Tuttlingen for the local economy and to bring together stakeholders from companies, organisations, and academia.”
From the university management's point of view, too, partnership-based cooperation is a key success factor. “Furtwangen University sees itself as a catalyst for knowledge and technology transfer – to the benefit of companies and to strengthen the entire innovation location,” emphasises Prof. Dr. Christoph Reich, Vice-President of Furtwangen University.
The Women's Business Days are also part of the event. “The structures at the Tuttlingen campus can also support women in particular in setting up their own start-ups,” emphasises Lucia Faller, equal opportunities officer for the city of Tuttlingen.
The Future Dialogue 2025 begins at 4.30pm on the Tuttlingen campus, Kronenstraße 16. After the presentations and programme items, a “get-together” invites participants to engage in personal exchange and networking.
Participation is free of charge. Registration is possible until 28 October at hfu.li/hightech-city-campus-tuttlingen. Last-minute participants are also welcome.
