“Interdisciplinary Security” lecture series
On Thursday 16 October at 7.00pm, Prof. Dr. Matthias Bollinger will give a public lecture on the topic: “Mass casualty incidents involving contaminated victims (CBRN-MANV)”. He will provide practical insights into the medical and organisational challenges that arise in the event of a mass casualty incident involving chemical, biological or radiological substances. The lecture will show how interdisciplinary cooperation between medicine, technology, and emergency response organizations can help to care for people, manage risks, and protect emergency personnel.
The lecture series will take place in Building O, Room 0.10, and will also be broadcast live via Zoom (External link opens in a new window:to the Zoom room). The event is open to all interested parties, as well as students and staff.
The new lecture series “Interdisciplinary Security” marks the start of a university-wide series of events on current security issues in the 2025/26 winter semester. The aim is to bring together technical, psychological, social, and legal perspectives and to make security a tangible cross-cutting issue.
Further lectures are planned for the coming weeks.
