Aspects of sustainability in an aluminium rolling mill

Furtwangen University cordially invites you to a lecture event organised by the Tuttlingen Hardening Group at the Tuttlingen university campus on Wednesday, 21 May 2025 starting at 6.00pm. Dr Lisa Schwarzenböck from Constellium Rolled Products Singen GmbH & Co. KG, will speak on the subject of ‘Aspects of sustainability in an aluminium rolling mill’.

About the lecture
With the 2030 Agenda, the United Nations has defined the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - 17 goals for socially, economically and ecologically sustainable development. The SDGs oblige companies to make their contribution to sustainable development. Industrial sectors with a strong influence on greenhouse gas emissions bear particular responsibility. The presentation provides an overview of the implementation of sustainable development at Constellium - a global market leader in aluminium processing and recycling. The focus will be on the processes at the Constellium Rolled Products Singen aluminium rolling mill and will provide examples of the influence of individual processes on sustainability.

Registration
To register, please send an email stating your name, function and institution to walter.keller(at)hs-furtwangen.de. The event is free of charge.
