“Dream Job Professor Plus” project - experiences and insights

2nd round of mentoring takes place at Karlsruhe Cooperative State University (DHBW)

Furtwangen University, the other 20 universities of applied sciences (HAW) and the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) have joined forces under the umbrella of the LaKof (State Conference of Equal Opportunities Officers at HAW in Baden-Württemberg and the DHBW) in the “Traumberuf Professorin Plus (TP+)” project. The project, which is both a mentoring and qualification programme, aims to encourage women to pursue a career in research and teaching at universities.

On Friday, 31 January, the next event in the project will take place at Karlsruhe Cooperative State University with around 200 people, including representatives from the Ministry and the partner universities meeting for the 2nd round of mentoring.

Prof. Dr. Stephan Trahasch, Chairman of the Presidents' Conference of the University of Applied Sciences will hold the keynote speech.
Mentees who have already completed the path to a professorship will also be sharing insights and their personal experiences on the way to an appointment. 

The “Dream Job Professor Plus” project is being funded for 5 years with €465,000 from the European Social Fund (ESF Plus) and €350,000 from the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts (MWK).
