Dual career advice at HFU

Career couples welcome - we arrange job contacts

Often, a new job doesn't just start for one person − the whole family moves to a new city and region together. Both the career start and the partner's job search have to be mastered. The aim of the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg Dual Career Advisory Service (SBH) is to help career partners find their way quickly and easily after moving to the region. The Dual Career Advisory Service is the central point of contact for dual career couples and networks with relevant employers both inside and outside the universities.

Orientation, getting to know each other, finding your feet - together with us!

Both our employees, and their partners and families, are important to us. Together with the Villingen-Schwenningen Cooperative State University and the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg Regional Business Development Agency, we provide you with individual and needs-oriented advice − on everything related to living and working as a dual-career couple in our region.

  • Experts in all areas Our dual career experts know the region inside out. In discussions with your partner, we work out what individual support we can offer.
  • From A for accommodation to Z for zone Relocating involves a great deal of effort. That's why we support the partners of our new employees with information on the job market and vacancies, childcare facilities and schools, and suitable places to live, from rural to urban.
  • Well-connected As part of a network of valuable contacts including the Cooperative State University, with 2000 further dual partners, and regional business development, which is active across all sectors, we know all the right people, institutions and educational establishments.
