University tryouts at Furtwangen University
School leavers interested in studying at Furtwangen University (HFU) can get a taste of “real” university life during the autumn break. From 28 - 31 October1, six HFU faculties will offer tryout courses. Students will be able to get a taste of medical and life sciences, engineering, health and computer science, among others. There will be a varied programme for curious students on all four days, with taster lectures on many different topics, including hazardous substances, anatomy and biochemistry. In addition to the lectures, there will also be laboratory tours and workshops. These will cover topics such as how to escape from a labyrinth or how to create a digital business card. Participants will also have the opportunity to talk to students and teaching staff directly about their study programmes and ask them questions. Those interested can decide on how many days they would like to take part. Each day can be attended by one department.
Further details and the exact daily programme can be found on the university website under the following link:Internal link opens in the same window:https://www.hs-furtwangen.de/en/experiencing-future/events/taster-programme
