Online application for APE

Application must be made over our online application portal.
You must first register there.
The following documents must be uploaded during the application process. It is best to have them ready in advance.

• Officially certified copy of the university entrance qualification that entitles you to study at a German university, or a foreign equivalent*
• Officially certified copy of the professionally qualifying university degree from a German university, e.g. Bachelor, Magister, Diplom or foreign equivalent in accordance with § 59 paragraph 1 LHG*
• Officially certified copy of a course enrollment list (transcript of grades, transcript of records, etc.). The course attendance list is issued by the respective university attended and is a list of all courses attended during the degree program with grades*
• Curriculum vitae (CV) in English or German
• Letter of motivation in English or German (min. one page, may. two DIN A 4 typed pages)
• Copies of other relevant documents, if available, e.g. job references, which prove your particular aptitude for the master's programme.

Foreign and stateless applicants who have a foreign university entrance qualification must also provide officially certified proof of German language proficiency in accordance with § 2 para. 1.

Applicants whose native language is not English must provide officially certified proof of English language proficiency in accordance with Section 2 (1d). 

*If the original was written in a language other than English or German, an officially certified translation into English or German.
