Technical solutions for medical problems
The Institute of Technical Medicine (ITeM) is one of the research departments at Furtwangen University.
We have a highly motivated, multidisciplinary team working on the application of technical solutions to medical problems. We do not limit ourselves to a specialized field such as biosignal analysis, but develop complete technical solutions ranging from instrumentation and signal acquisition to intelligent decision support. Major successes have been achieved in the field of physiological modeling and mechanical ventilation.
