Optical bandpass filter for use in thermal detectors, spectrometers and imaging
The aim of this project is to develop the first high-quality and continuously tunable optical bandpass filter for the THz range (e.g. 0.3-1.6 THz) and the far IR range using femtosecond laser technology for use in thermal detectors, spectrometers and imaging, so that the position of the passband frequency and the blocking property can be adjusted during operation. The design process is carried out by HFU and the optical properties of the filters are tested using simulation before production. The project partners are responsible for manufacturing the filters and the components required for tunability.
