Electronics wonderbox gifted to Tuttlingen Campus
Campus neighbour and electronics tinkerer Bernhard Grieble provided a surprise at the Tuttlingen campus of Furtwangen University (HFU). To the delight of the two academic staff members Florian Zitz and Jonas Birkle, he donated an electronics wonder box to the HFU site. In addition to numerous new Arduinos and displays, it contained microcontrollers and sensor electronics. “The technology still has a useful application on campus. Students can work with it here,” explains Grieble. “Students on the bachelor's and master's degree programmes in Engineering Psychology and Human Factors will now use the electronics to create interactive prototypes,” say Zitz and Birkle. “The selection is broad and completes our teaching offer.” Grieble who was a “master electronics technician in medical technology” and trainer at university partner KLS Martin Group said, “My heart beats for training young people.”
