Liane-Marina Meßmer presents her work in London
The Future Technology Conference 2024 in London brought together experts from research and technology. Liane-Marina Meßmer from Furtwangen University presented her work, Context-Aware Machine Learning: A Survey, to an international audience.
The research work was carried out as part of a doctoral collaboration with the Université de Haute Alsace and was funded by the DIDEM project − Digital Technologies for People with Dementia. The aim of the work is to present basic concepts for the integration of contextual information in AI systems and to summarise the current state of research in this area.
Context-aware AI systems are characterised by the fact that they not only analyse existing data, but also incorporate environmental information into their decision-making. This allows them to act far more flexibly and precisely than traditional AI systems, which are based on rigid patterns.
Participation in the conference underlines the importance of research work at Furtwangen University and its contribution to the development of modern, intelligent technologies.
