IT attack... and then? Correct response.

The 34th Furtwangen Safety and Security Dialogue lecture entitled “IT attack and then? Correct response” takes place on Tuesday, 5 November, at 3.30pm in Room 0.01 in C Building at Furtwangen University.

Dipl. Ing. Gilbert Löhr from the Federal Office for Information Security will speak at the event, part of the Security & Safety Engineering programme lecture series.

In his lecture, he will briefly explain how to behave in the event of a cyber attack. The various phases of such an incident will be highlighted − from initial detection and containment to damage limitation and recovery. The presentation will provide practical tips on how to avoid mistakes, minimise gaps, take immediate action and limit the damage. It will also show how the internal team and external experts can work together to deal with such a cyber incident and reduce the risk of future attacks.

The event is free of charge and is open to all interested parties.
