Aim and content of the training course
Learn the basics of good leadership behavior in order to motivate your employees and lead them in a value-oriented manner. You will train your own leadership skills in practice-oriented exercises, role plays and a personal use case. The seminar is aimed at current and future specialists and managers in companies and organizations in all sectors.
Form of work: Three-day block seminar. Participants work on individual case studies (transfer work) with individual feedback. Compact online follow-up event.

Schedule
Part I - Fundamentals:
Fundamentals of leadership, Graves' value model, ego development according to Loevinger (including classification of one's own personality), the nature of motivation, various experiments on the topics
Part II - Typology of leadership personalities:
Good and bad leadership in contrast, good and bad leadership behavior related to talent, autonomy, ability, goals and accomplishment, vividly deepened with role plays by the participants and the trainer
Part III - A guide to building good leadership:
Where do I stand personally? All-round view (where does the environment stand?), acting like a leader, general tips for managers
Qualification
Furtwangen University will issue a certificate of academic continuing education worth 2 ECTS credits for successful completion of the course.
The performance assessment takes the form of a transfer paper.
