OptaVR project in focus
On Thursday 13 November, CoHMed, the innovation and transfer partnership of HFU, in cooperation with MedicalMountains GmbH, is hosting a MedTalk on the topic of VR on the Tuttlingen campus. The focus will be on the OpTA-VR project – an innovative VR platform for training surgical assistants (OTA) that brings surgical scenarios to life and enables practical learning in a safe, virtual environment. Experts from HFU will provide exciting insights into the research project, invite you to try it out, and present other projects from the newly founded HFU hub, “Immersive Media in Research and Teaching (IMeRT)”. The free MedTalk will take place from 4.00 - 6.00pm and is aimed in particular at representatives from university clinics and hospitals as well as medical device manufacturers. Other interested parties are also welcome to attend.
