New textbook by Prof. Dr. Nicole Weydmann
Prof. Dr. Nicole Weydmann, who holds a professorship in qualitative methods at Furtwangen University, has written a new textbook on her field of expertise together with Prof. Dr. Margrit Schreier from Constructor University in Bremen. Under the title “Case Selection in Qualitative Research,” the authors describe how this approach differs fundamentally from quantitative sampling methods. The compact guide presents key principles and strategies and shows how they can be applied in various research designs. Numerous case studies illustrate how case selection can be designed in a targeted and methodically reflective manner. Students and researchers from all disciplines who work with qualitative research will find important tools for their own research and for analysing and discussing available data.
The book “Case Selection in Qualitative Research” was published in September by Barbara Budrich Publishers as part of the utb academic paperback series.
