German Clock Museum opens “StattMuseum” workshop space
StattMuseum is the name of the new workshop space at the German Clock Museum, located just a few steps away from Furtwangen's market square. The inviting premises at Friedrichstraße 3 are also available for university purposes: as a workshop space for up to 20 people or for events that require public visibility.
This is an important step for the clock museum − during the general renovation (until 2027), workshops can now take place in its own premises again. The “Build a Cuckoo Clock” workshop, a creative initiative for adults, is particularly popular. Further initiatives are being planned, such as holiday workshops for children and an inclusive art project by Bruderhaus Diakonie Vöhrenbach.
