Future Forum 2025: HFU joins the discussion on employer branding

How can companies today attract early-career talent and retain them in the long term? This question will be addressed at the Future Forum 2025 on 4 November in Villingen-Schwenningen. The event is being organised jointly by the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Villingen-Schwenningen, the Black Forest-Baar Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Black Forest-Baar Marketing Club, the Technology Mountains technology network, and Furtwangen University.

Under the title “TikTok meets fax – employer branding at its limits,” the forum will highlight the areas of tension between the modern demands of young employees and the often traditional structures of many companies. While social media such as TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram are playing an increasingly central role in employer communication, many companies continue to rely on traditional tools such as career pages, job advertisements, and even the fax machine. At the same time, the image of attractive jobs is changing. The younger generation attaches great importance to a working environment that promotes physical and mental health, enables flexibility, and embodies a value-oriented corporate culture. These developments present companies with the challenge of remaining authentic, visible and adaptable in an increasingly digital, fast-paced and demanding world of work.

The Future Forum offers the opportunity to critically examine current developments in employer branding. External link opens in a new window:veranstaltungen-ihk-sbh.de/zukunftsforum2025
